Academically affiliated health system located 60 miles north of Philadelphia and just over an hour from New York City is recruiting the following neurologists to join growing group of 15 neurologists.
• Headache Specialist
• Stroke Director
• General Clinical neurologist outpatient
• Neurohospitalist
• Neurorehab specialist (PMR or neurologist)
Stroke Neurologist: They have Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Program, and are moving toward a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The program is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including low dose CT scanners, MRI with functional capabilities, ICAVL accredited vascular labs, full service interventional radiology and neurointerventional capabilities and a Hybrid OR. There 24/7 neurology and neurosurgery capability and an established program for rapid evaluation and treatment of stroke patients. 2014 Get with the Guidelines Stroke Target Stroke Honor Roll, Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award. 2 year MGMA comparative salary guarantee with very attractive RVU based income.

Neurohospitalist: They are recruiting or several additional neurohospitalists. Ideal candidate should have interest in stroke. Physicians have mid-level support and provide stroke call. The service is a consultant service, no admitting privileges.

Headache Specialist: They are looking for a talented headache fellowship-trained neurologist to join established headache center with several headache specialists. They are hiring in order to accommodate our growing patient base. Ideal candidate will provide outpatient headache and general neurology services along with rotating call coverage. They have full time neurohospitalist on staff so very limited on call.

Outpatient General Neurologist: Opportunities are available for BC/BE general neurologists in order to expand our current neurology services at our six hospitals. These positions are primarily outpatient. The only inpatient requirement would be for call and holiday coverage. Call today is about 1 night per week and every 6 or 7 weekends.

Neuro-Rehabilitation Specialist: They have expanded their acute rehab center to 31 beds and is looking for a board certified or board eligible neurologist or physiatrist to perform inpatient neuro-rehab consults and develop an outpatient neuro-rehab continuum.

The Neurology group is a part of the University Neuroscience team that has multiple neurosurgical and neurology subspecialists including centers for epilepsy, movement disorder, headache, neurorehabilitation, stroke including interventional, sleep, MS, neurooncology, functional neurosurgery…
