Due to extensive growth and community need, Reading Hospital/Tower Health is seeking a fellowship trained Vascular Neurologist to join our growing Neuroscience Center, a multi-subspecialty clinical service line including 15+ Neurologists and APPs as well as Neurology Residents. The new Neurologist will be joining a very collaborative, collegial group with a very experienced support staff. Successful candidates will be appointed faculty positions at our recently inaugurated ACGME neurology residency program and clerkship through Drexel University College of Medicine. The Neurology position will be working a 7 on 7 off schedule with telemedicine capabilities. The Vascular Neurologist will be rounding on a pure vascular service with a team that includes an Advanced Practitioner and Neurology Residents from our newly approved ACGME program.

Job Responsibilities

The Vascular Neurologist will be joining a very experienced Stroke Team with layered support to include Advanced Practitioners and Residents.  The opportunity provides a wide-ranging involvement in Stroke Neurology with high acuity and volume due to the busiest Emergency Department in Pennsylvania.  The Vascular Neurologist has the opportunity to participate in the final development of the Comprehensive Stroke Program.
