Position: Stroke Director – Neurology/Interventional Location: Johnson City, NY Overview: We are seeking a board-certified, ACGME-accredited fellowship-trained Neurologist/Interventionalist to lead our Joint Commission-certified Stroke Program. This leadership role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities, offering the opportunity to shape a high-quality, comprehensive stroke program. Responsibilities: • Serve as Stroke Director, overseeing the stroke program and operations. • 50% clinical and 50% administrative responsibilities. • Provide clinical coverage every other week with 24/7 availability. • Mentor and train up to 2 fellows per year. • Support and participate in clinical trials. • Opportunity for faculty appointment at a regional medical university. Clinical Highlights: • Case volume of 350–400 cases per year. • Lead a Joint Commission-certified stroke program ensuring high-quality standards. Qualifications: • Board-certified in Neurology/Interventional Neurology. • Fellowship-trained in an ACGME-accredited program. • Minimum of 5 years of previous clinical experience. • Strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
