Required Experience:
- Minimum of two years experience practicing as an Adult Neurohospitalist - OR- two years of Neurocritical care experience
- Trained in acute stroke
- W2
- Shift Schedule: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Minimum Commitment: 7 shifts/month (days, nights, and weekends)
- Holiday coverage: Shared rotation within practice
- Our physicians practice in a true Neurohospitalist model, where they can manage acute cases in the ED, offer continuity of care for their condition in the ICU or floor, and follow the patients until consultation is no longer required. They can also provide EEG interpretation, APP supervision for employed Neurology APPs, and outpatient tele neurology clinic coverage, depending on the program
- Projected Volumes: 10-12 acute consults per shift, Paneled to average 1 acute consult/hour, Can do 2 follow-ups an hour or hand off the follow-ups to the next team member.
