Job description
We are seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join our growing Pediatrics Department. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow a new pediatric residency program and its subspecialty services. Candidates with fellowship training in Neurology and Special Qualification in Child Neurology are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert pediatric neurology care to both inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient settings
Engage in resident and medical student education, fostering academic growth and clinical excellence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and expand pediatric neurological services
Opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation
Participate in scholarly activities, research, and academic pursuits
Potential leadership opportunities for qualified candidates
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology (0-5 years post-residency)
Fellowship-trained (completion prior to start date required)
Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain
Controlled Substance License CSR/CDS and DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)
Strong clinical skills and a passion for teaching
Experience or interest in scholarly activities (research, publications, academic projects)
Open to candidates on H1B and J1 visas
Assistant or Associate Professor level preferred, but all ranks will be considered
