Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Epileptologist or Neurologist with pediatric epilepsy experience for a remote locum tenens position as a Seizure Classification Reviewer (SCR). This role is critical in ensuring accurate seizure classification for several Phase 3 pediatric and adult epilepsy trials. The provider will act as a clinical expert supporting trial integrity and engaging with pediatric patients and families.
Job Responsibilities
Review eDiary seizure data submitted by study sites
Communicate with sites regarding discrepancies or queries
Complete seizure classification forms and submit final decisions in the eDiary
Maintain close coordination with study team and communicate availability or absences in advance
Interact professionally and compassionately with pediatric patients and families
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Trial Experience (REQUIRED)
Strong working knowledge of seizure classification and clinical trial protocols
Must be compassionate and professional in family-facing communication
GCP Certification (REQUIRED)
Licensure: MA license required; 3–5 active state licenses preferred
Working Hours
Must be available between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST, including occasional weekends
Standard example schedule: 2 days/week, 5 hours/day (e.g., 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST, flexible)
Must communicate any time off with minimum 4 weeks’ notice
