Job Responsibilities
• Develop individualized, evidence-based pain management treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage neuropathic pain, radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, headaches, spine-related pain, and complex pain syndromes.
• Perform appropriate interventional pain management procedures based on training and experience.
• Utilize diagnostic testing and clinical findings to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, and other specialists.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency.
• Pain Management fellowship training and/or significant specialized pain management experience required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Experience treating complex chronic and neuropathic pain conditions.
• Interventional pain management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
