JOB DESCRIPTION:
University affiliated medical center in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC PM&R physician to practice management of musculoskeletal patients. Abundant opportunities exist for performance of EMG/NCS, ultrasound, interventional spine procedures, and spasticity management including baclofen pumps, botox, xeomin, and phenol injections. Opportunities also exist with non-operative orthopedics and sports medicine.
Job Highlights include:
State of the art 75-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
Multiple outpatient clinical settings including pain clinic, lifestyle medicine clinic, wound clinic, and neurosurgery clinic
Participation in the training of residents, medical students, and other allied health students
Research is supported and is a valued component of the position
