Academic Neurointensivist
Merritt Hawkins, the nation’s premier academic search firm, invites you to consider an opportunity to join a rapidly growing Department of Neurology at an established academic institution in the Houston area. We are seeking a board certified or eligible, fellowship-trained Neurointensivist from either academic or non-academic backgrounds. This position features the following:
- Be a part of a Neurocritical Critcal Care Unit that provides 24-hour care with dedicated neurosurgeons, critical care neurologists, stroke neurologists, critical care nurses, and other support staff
- Work in a state-of-the-art hospital home to a Level I Trauma Center and JCAHO certified Primary Stroke Center
- Enjoy a high quality of life position with very little after hours call
- Opportunity to teach residents and fellows
- Outstanding referral base and subspecialty support in Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology and all other specialties
