Nephrology opportunity in Lake Charles, LA Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Nephrology Opportunity to diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases Treat conditions including: • Hypertension • Fluid and electrolyte disorders • Acid-base disorders Provide care for patients with end-stage renal disease, including: • Dialysis management • Pre- and post-kidney transplant care Perform nephrology-related procedures such as: • Kidney biopsies • Placement of temporary vascular access • Renal ultrasonography Provide both inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations and follow-up care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction Opportunity to mentor residents and other healthcare team members Supportive environment focused on evidence-based medicine and advancement in nephrology care Candidate requirements include: • MD, DO, or MBBS degree • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Nephrology • Louisiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one Excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a collaborative practice environment and long-term career growth in Southwest Louisiana
