Pediatrics - Nephrology

Required Skills
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Nephrology
- Proven experience in managing renal disorders such as Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, Fanconi Syndrome, Hemolytic-Uremic Syndrome, Hepatorenal Syndrome, and Renal Transplant cases
- Proficiency in procedures including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Renal Biopsy (Percutaneous and Needle Biopsy)
- Ability to interpret EEGs (Reading Hospital certification required)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties covering evenings and weekends
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Pediatric EEG readings and renal transplant follow-up care
- Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient nephrology services in a hospital setting
- Additional certifications in nephrology or related fields
Preferred Education and Experience
- MD or DO with Board Certification in Pediatric Nephrology
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatric renal care or academic setting preferred
- Valid medical license in applicable state(s)
Other Requirements
- Availability for a minimum of one week, ideally two, per month
- On-call availability during evenings and weekends, with a commitment to seeing at least five outpatients daily during on-call week
- Must be able to see 70% of inpatient cases and 30% of outpatient cases, with flexibility as needed
- Valid certifications, licensure, and ability to participate in hospital procedures and EEG readings
