Job Responsibilities
- Management and treatment of complex nephrology conditions including but not limited to Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, and Renal Transplantation.
- Perform procedures such as Hemodialysis and Percutaneous Renal Biopsy.
- Conduct inpatient rounds and consults, covering approximately 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient care.
- Maintain availability for on-call duties, providing care and expertise during evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Nephrology required.
- Fellowship in related specialty preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
- Experience with renal conditions and procedures preferred.
Working Hours
- Requires availability for at least one week per month, ideally two weeks.
- Outpatient Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- On-call: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM following week.
Skills
- Expertise in the management and treatment of rare and complex renal syndromes.
- Proficient in performing renal-related procedures with a preference for needle biopsy of the kidney.
- Ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient nephrology cases effectively.
- Strong communication skills to provide comprehensive patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
