Job description
Starling Physicians has a current opening for a Board Certified Nephrologist. Practice has the complete spectrum of Nephrology care, with office practice, multiple dialysis clinics (including home hemo), and provides all the inpatient and ICU renal care at a single tertiary, academic hospital with teaching among residents, students, and fellows. Opportunity to participate in outpatient and inpatient transplant service for transplant fellowship trained providers. Practice owns the community outpatient vascular access center with 2 interventional nephrologists and 2 full time access surgeons.
Responsibilities include:
Team based (18 physician/5 APP) hospital coverage is roughly 1:5 weekends.
Credentialed and Medical Directorships at 15 different dialysis facilities.
Call coverage roughly 1:16 nights.
3 transplant certified nephrologists integrated with top NE transplant center.
Profitable Vascular Access Center for > 18 years.
Clinical research opportunities through Starling and hospital system.
Opportunities for Resident Teaching
Requirements include:
Must be able to obtain Connecticut licensure before you begin practicing.
Board Certification and DEA license required.
