Coverage Needed:
- June 8, 2026 - Ongoing
- On-call from Monday 7 am to the following Monday 7 am
- Outpatient clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Clinical Details:
- Preferred Duties/Procedures: Management and Treatment of: Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, Fanconi Syndrome, Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome, Hepatorenal Syndrome, Renal Transplant, Percutaneous Renal Biopsy, Peritoneal Dialysis, acute/chronic, Needle biopsy of the kidney
- Required Duties/Procedures: EEG Reads, Hemodialysis
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: Hospital varies, Outpatient 7
- Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 APP, 3 MAs, 1 Office Staff
- Resident or teaching supervision required
- Call: Beeper for unassigned patients with a 15min response time required
- Average Phone Consults: 0-5
- Average Patients Seen: 0-10
- Admissions: 0-5
- During the on-call week, the provider must see to a minimum of five outpatients each day at the clinic and be available for inpatient rounds/consults
- Typically, the provider covers 70% of inpatients and 30% of outpatients, but this may vary
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active PA License or IMLC
- PALS
- Must commit to a minimum of one week, but ideally two weeks of availability per month
