Schedule & Coverage:
- Mon–Fri 9AM–5PM: Inpatient rounding (AKI focused)
- Mon–Fri 5PM–9AM: Night call (minimal callbacks; strong backup)
- Fri 5PM–Mon 9AM: Weekend call
- Flexible on which week each month
Position Overview:
- Position Type: 1099/ Locum Tenens
- Start Date: ASAP – April 2026
- Duration: April 2026 – June 2027
- Schedule: 1 week per month (Monday AM – Monday AM)
- EMR: Epic
- Practice Size: 6 providers
- Facility Type: Affiliated Level II Trauma Center
Patient Volume:
- Weekdays: 15 patients per day
- Weekends: 20 patients per day
- Procedures: None required
Support:
- Hospitalists, Internists, Residents, and APPs provide strong backup during call
Requirements:
- MD/DO – Nephrology
- Board Certified – Required
- Active California license
- DEA required
- Credentialing timeframe: 6 weeks
