Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Nephrology (BC required)
- State Medical License for Tennessee
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical skills in adult nephrology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Prior experience in both inpatient and outpatient nephrology services
- Knowledge of dialysis management and procedures
- Bilingual capabilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency/clinical nephrology experience
- Proven track record in managing dialysis patients and complex nephrology cases
Other Requirements:
- Clear and clean professional background
- Willingness to work a schedule involving clinic hours and 24-hour call shifts
- Credentialing completed within 60 days
- No licensure sponsorship required; TN license necessary
- All billable travel expenses (airfare, hotel, rental car, mileage) are covered
