Job description We are seeking a board-certified Nephrologist for a high-volume inpatient locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, and spans 30 days with 24-hour call shifts. The schedule includes 5-14 shifts per month, with the possibility of shifting to two-week blocks as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage high-volume inpatient nephrology cases
  • Provide consultative and direct care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease
  • Respond to nephrology-related emergencies and provide on-call coverage
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner EMR system
  • Adhere to facility protocols and quality standards

Additional Information
  • Active Indiana medical license required
  • Board certification in Nephrology required
  • Experience in high-volume inpatient nephrology is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system is beneficial
