Nephrologist Opportunity - Cooperstown, NY Position Details
- FT, permanent position
- H1b/J1 sponsorship available
- Join an established group of 4 Nephrologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
- 100% Nephrology practice
- 26 weeks of Nephrology call per year
- Consult service only; all patient admissions are through the hospitalist and surgical teams.
- Typically, 2-5 new consultants per day with an average of 12-17 total patient touches per day.
- Provide CRRT support to critically ill patients
- Peritoneal dialysis & hemodialysis to inpatients
- Can perform kidney biopsies if desired; Interventional Radiology available
- No outpatient dialysis patients
- Dialysis units are owned and operated by Healthcare Network.
- Support from all medical and surgical subspecialties
- Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia
- Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.
