Seeking BE/BC Nephrologist to join team in Bronx, NY as faculty provider. Responsibilities will include providing inpatient and outpatient care for a large and diverse population of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease and teaching medical students, residents, and Nephrology Fellows. Candidates with experience in research and/or strong interest in participating in research are preferred.

The Division of Nephrology has a distinguished history of innovation in research, clinical care, and education, and is one of the nations’ leading academic Nephrology divisions. The Division faculty are a vibrant, supportive, and rapidly growing group, currently consisting of 30 full-time members with diverse expertise in clinical nephrology, medical education, and basic and clinical research.

Our faculty also provide care for a large population of patients with end stage kidney disease, and we are home to one of the region’s largest and most successful kidney transplant programs. Divisional faculty are actively engaged in a diverse array of funded research programs spanning basic and translational research into the pathogenesis of kidney diseases, epidemiology, and clinical trials to improve the care of patients with kidney disease.

• Conversational fluency in Spanish is preferred. Rank and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and generous benefits packages are offered to all faculty.
• Total guaranteed compensation for faculty positions range from $200,000-250,000, with the opportunity for significantly higher income with additional roles and generous productivity incentives.
