Cross Country Locums is seeking a Neonatologist for Crown Point, IN for locums coverage.
Desired Schedule: 24 hour in house coverage in the nursery; Can take call from hotel or call room; Level II NICU shift times vary
Scope of Work:
- Daily management of patients in 20-bed Level III NICU (ADC~8); average 1400 deliveries per year with 13% admissions to NICU
- Attendance at all c-sections and high risk deliveries
- Daily rounding in NICU and participation in high risk OB patient rounds
- Provide consults to high risk mothers in labor and delivery
- Coverage of outpatient NICU follow up clinic (one day/month)
- Skills necessary: umbilical line placement, endotracheal intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement & neonatal resuscitation
- Support Staff; 2 NNP available PRN for night shift coverage
- Travel, Lodging, and A++ malpractice insurance
