Perm Solutions USA has a new opportunity for a Neonatologist to work in Albuquerque NM. This is a perm opportunity.
Duties
-Schedule: 24 hour in-house coverage (7:30a - 5p, 5p-7:30a). 1 NNP works from 7:30a-7:30p daily.
-Shift Responsibility: In-house coverage only
-NICU Level: 53-bed Level III NICU with 16 L&D Rooms and a 41-bed mother-baby unit.
-Backup: Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology
-Census: 29-35 Average Daily Census (3200 delivieries/year)
-EMR Type: Epic
-800+ admissions per year
-Keep all gestations, all weights
-RNs perform PICC line placement, NNPs intubate and do chest tubes
-No ECMO
-Have both conventional vents and high frequency vents
-Transfer mainly to another hospital, unless cardiac
-Maternal-fetal Medicine program for high-risk pregnancies; they also have a natural birthing unit.
-Peds Observation unit supervised 24/7
