Envision Physician Services is seeking a Neonatology Medical Director to join and lead the NICU team in Alexandria, Louisiana serving Rapides Regional Medical Center and Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital. The Medical Center is a 380 + bed, award winning hospital which includes Rapides Women’s and Children’s featuring obstetrical, gynecological, pediatric and pediatric intensive care services. Home to the area's largest, most innovative Newborn Intensive Care Unit and emergency department, offering the community the only Level II Trauma Center. Highlights of this opportunity:

  • 34 bed, Level III NICU
  • 2 Neonatologists / 5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner model
  • NNP in-house 24-hrs
  • Schedule is week on/off with home call at night (30-min response)
  • 1,500 – 2,000 deliveries annually
  • NNP transport team with physician covering in-house during transports

Position Requirements

  • BC ABP certification required
  • Eligible for licensure in Louisiana
  • Ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and Leadership experience
