Neonatologist - Physician - (Neonatology) Locum Tenens
Neonatology opportunity in Wisconsin. Our client is seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to provide coverage for their facility beginning in December. This will be an ongoing opportunity until they hire a new provider. Give us a call today with your availability!
Specializing in the care of newborn infants, a neonatologist(locum tenens) is often tasked with providing diagnoses and treatments to infants with birth defects and life-threatening illnesses. In order to become licensed as a neonatologist, a physician must first complete a residency in general pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in neonatology. These physicians provide a wide range of treatments for their patients, and often work with them for long periods of time, as in the case of premature birth.
