We are seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our expert NICU team on a per diem basis. As the region's premier referral center for advanced neonatal care, our hospital offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity environment alongside experienced specialists and a dedicated multidisciplinary support team.
Position Highlights
- Level IV NICU with 92 beds
- Average daily census of 86
- Collaborate with experienced Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
- Multiple providers scheduled daily; no solo coverage
- Full pediatric subspecialty support
- Active resident teaching environment
- Dedicated NICU support staff including specialized RNs, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and ancillary personnel
Schedule
- Flexible per diem coverage opportunities
- Most needs are evenings and weekends, but availability is flexible
- Typical day shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Typical night shifts:
- 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Requirements
- Board Certified Neonatologist
- Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain licensure
