Join a collaborative neonatal care team at a state-of-the-art facility providing high-quality care to newborns and critically ill infants. This opportunity offers a supportive practice environment, strong APP/NNP support, and a flexible schedule structure within a well-established neonatal program.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Completion of Neonatology Fellowship Training (required)
- Previous Neonatology experience required; experienced candidates only
- Eligible for or currently holding a Georgia medical license
- DEA required prior to start date
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
Position Highlights
- Provide neonatology coverage for a 10-bed Level III NICU
- Care for newborns in a 20-bed newborn unit
- Support approximately 1,000 annual births
- Work alongside daily Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) support
- Participate in a 3-physician neonatal staffing model
- Perform daily rounds in both NICU and newborn nursery settings
- Manage admissions, stabilization, and ongoing treatment of neonatal patients
- Provide clinical oversight for critically ill and premature infants
- Collaborate with experienced nursing staff, NNPs, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Participate in a home-call rotation for NICU responsibilities
