- Patient Volume: Approximately 8-15 patient encounters per shift
- Schedule: Weekday outpatient coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch; weekday inpatient coverage from 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM; weekend beeper backup and inpatient rounds
- Call Coverage: Home night call, Labor & Delivery backup call, and weekend inpatient rounds

Job Requirements
- Board-certified MD required
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training required or strongly preferred
- At least 1 year of Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience required
- Experience managing high-risk pregnancy cases and complex maternal conditions
- Strong skills in obstetric ultrasound interpretation and procedural care
- Ability to supervise APPs, fellows, and residents
- Experience with both inpatient and outpatient MFM workflows
- Comfort with call coverage, weekend rounding, and Labor & Delivery support
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultations and high-risk obstetric care
- Perform obstetric ultrasound services and interpret Level II and targeted studies
- Deliver inpatient antepartum and postpartum coverage
- Complete consults, cerclages, and select deliveries as needed
- Support Labor & Delivery with backup call coverage
- Participate in home night call and weekend inpatient rounding
- Supervise and collaborate with APPs, fellows, and residents
- Manage complex pregnancy conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, cardiac disease, pulmonary disease, renal disorders, autoimmune conditions, hematologic and oncologic disorders, and more
- Provide care for obstetric cases such as VBAC, breech delivery, placenta previa, placental abruption, multiple gestation, and cesarean sections
- Perform or assist with procedures such as amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, and instrument-assisted delivery when indicated
