## Neonatologist Opening | Las Vegas, NV Located in Las Vegas, Nevada Full-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Full-time Neonatologist opportunity serving two Level III NICUs in the Las Vegas metropolitan area * Join an established team of board-certified, fellowship-trained Neonatologists providing evidence-based neonatal care * Practice at a 24-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 24 and a newly developed 15-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 5 * Provide advanced neonatal care utilizing high-frequency jet and oscillatory ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), and therapeutic hypothermia (body cooling) * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatric cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, gastroenterology, pediatric surgery, and other pediatric subspecialists * Full pediatric subspecialty support available across the health system * Opportunity to teach and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives * Work within an integrated neonatal network that includes a regional Level IV NICU for advanced neonatal support * Full-time schedule consists of approximately fifteen 12-hour in-house shifts per month * New Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Starting base salary of $250,000 for newly trained Neonatologists, with higher compensation based on experience * Relocation assistance available * Recruitment incentives may be available ## Job Qualifications * MD or DO * Board Certified in Pediatrics * Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine * Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (completed prior to start) * Nevada medical license or eligibility * DEA and CSR/CDS registrations required prior to start * Clean malpractice and licensure history preferred * J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available ## Benefits * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance * Short- and long-term disability coverage * 401(k) with employer match * Employee stock purchase program * Long-term care insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) * Identity protection benefits * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Supplemental hospital, accident, and critical illness coverage ## Community Details Las Vegas, Nevada offers more than 300 days of sunshine each year, no state income tax, and an exceptional quality of life with world-class dining, entertainment, shopping, and professional sports.
