Neonatology Opening – Jackson, Tennessee
Location: Jackson, TN
Type: Full-Time

Seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join a well-established and collaborative neonatal team in Jackson, Tennessee. This opportunity offers a high-acuity clinical environment with strong subspecialty support and a balanced work schedule.
Position Highlights:
Level III NICU with 42 beds
Approximately 600 NICU admissions per year
Around 60 NICU ground transports annually
3,500 deliveries per year
5–7 days on / 5–7 days off schedule
No in-house call
Work alongside:
- 2 full-time board-certified Neonatologists
- 7 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
On-site perinatology support
Access to pediatric subspecialists for advanced care coordination
National Safe Sleep Hospital designation
Baby-Friendly designation
Tennessee’s only comprehensive perinatal bereavement program
Opportunities for neonatal research and quality improvement initiatives
Support Services:
Dedicated pediatric pharmacist
Respiratory therapists
Physical, speech, and music therapists
Registered dietitian
Lactation specialist
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
Strong clinical and collaborative skills
