Millennium Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join our growing practice at Piedmont Macon Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care.

Our physicians work closely with hospital staff and specialists to provide a patient-centered approach focused on supporting the health and well-being of newborns and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated provider who is passionate about neonatal medicine and committed to making a meaningful impact during the earliest stages of life.

Opportunity Highlights

This position is based in a Level III NICU with strong clinical support, approximately 1,000 deliveries annually, and an average daily census of 4–6 patients. Providers work within a collaborative two-physician care model as part of an established Women’s & Children’s services program with more than 30 years of experience.

Responsibilities

The Neonatologist will provide comprehensive medical care to newborns in the Level III NICU, including premature and critically ill infants. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries and performing neonatal resuscitation as indicated, diagnosing and managing a broad range of neonatal conditions, and performing neonatal procedures within scope of practice. The provider will collaborate closely with pediatricians, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members, communicate effectively with families regarding clinical status and treatment plans, maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in shared call coverage and team-based responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and demonstrate strong clinical expertise in NICU care. Candidates should thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment, possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based neonatal medicine.
