Permanent Physician - Neonatology
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Neonatology
Location: OK.
Shift: 24-hour shifts (taken out-of-house)
Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonatal / Newborn
Setting: Level III NICU
Responsibilities: Provide neonatal care across two NICU facilities, collaborate with neonatology team and NNPs, and manage critical neonatal cases with full hospital support.
Required Procedures: Neonatal intensive care procedures and management of critically ill newborns
EMR System:
Support Staff: Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (24/7 support) and hospital clinical team
Days Per Month: Approximately 10 shifts per month
On-Call/Weekends: Call taken from home with 24-hour shift structure
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – Required
- Oklahoma State License or willingness to obtain – Required
- NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
