Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Proven experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal procedures
- Proficiency in ultrasound (GE 10 or equivalent) and related diagnostic tools
- Strong knowledge of high-risk pregnancy management, including pre-eclampsia, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, and congenital anomalies
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supervising or coordinating with advanced practice providers
- Additional certifications in fetal medicine or advanced obstetrics techniques
- Familiarity with EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine or a comparable high-risk obstetrics setting
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing may take up to 90 days
- Willingness to work scheduled coverage dates with flexibility
- Travel reimbursements provided, including flight, hotel, rental car, or mileage at IRS standard rates
- Must adhere to all applicable licensure, certification, and compliance standards
