Urgent locum Neonatology opportunity providing in-house night coverage in a Level III NICU. This role offers a predictable schedule of 4–6 night shifts per month, caring for high-acuity neonates in a well-supported NICU environment. Ideal for fellowship-trained neonatologists seeking focused night work and schedule flexibility 🌙
Job Responsibilities
• Provide in-house overnight coverage in a Level III NICU
• Manage neonatal admissions, daily care, and stabilization
• Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections as required
• Coordinate and manage neonatal transfers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary NICU teams
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatology
• Fellowship-trained in Neonatology
• Active Michigan medical license (in hand)
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU
• Clean background and current NPDB self-query
Working Hours
• Night shifts only: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4–6 in-house shifts per month
• Coverage period: March 2026 – December 2026 ⏰
