Seeking an experienced Neonatologist to provide locum tenens night coverage in a well-established Level III NICU. This is an ongoing opportunity through December 2026 with a collegial team and manageable census—ideal for providers looking for consistent, flexible shifts.

🗓 Assignment Highlights

• Coverage Dates: March 24, 2026 – December 31, 2026

• Shifts: 4–6 nights per month

• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (in-house)

• Immediate Dates Needed:

  • 3/24 | 3/28 | 3/31 | 4/3

🏥 NICU Snapshot

• Level III NICU | 15 Beds

• Average Census: ~12 patients/day

• Admissions: 0–4 per day

• Trauma Level: III

• EMR: Cerner / eCare / PowerChart

• Supportive Group:

  • 3 Full-Time Neonatologists

  • 2 Part-Time

  • 4 Contingent Providers

👶 Clinical Responsibilities

• Attend C-sections

• Manage neonatal transfers

• No Well-Baby Nursery coverage

• Balanced acuity with strong team support

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatology

• Fellowship-Trained in Neonatology

• Active Michigan medical license (license in hand)

• Recent experience (within last 3 months) in a Level III or IV NICU

• BLS & NRP certified

• Clean background

• Local providers preferred (mileage reimbursed)

• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) required at submission

• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days
