Permanent Physician – Neonatology
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Neonatology
Location: Kansas
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Six to seven 24-hour in-house shifts per month plus six to seven 8-hour day shifts per month
- Patient Population: Neonatal (Level III NICU)
- Setting: Hospital-based Level III NICU
- Responsibilities: Provide full neonatal intensive care services, manage NICU admissions, deliver advanced respiratory and critical therapies, collaborate with subspecialty teams, and participate in patient coverage and call duties
- Required Procedures: High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, aEEG monitoring
- EMR System:
- Support Staff: 5 Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
- Days Per Month: 12–14 shifts per month
- On-Call/Weekends: Rotating call coverage including nights and weekends
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Kansas license (or willing to obtain)
- DEA prior to start
- NPDB Self Query within 30 days
- Clean malpractice/license history
- J1 visa eligible
