Permanent Physician – Neonatology
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Neonatology
Location: Nevada
Shift: 12-hour in-house shifts (15 shifts per month)
- Patient Population: Neonates (Level III NICU)
- Setting: Inpatient hospital / NICU
- Responsibilities: Provide NICU coverage, manage critically ill neonates, participate in transport services, collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and surgical teams, teaching opportunities available
- Required Procedures: Neonatal critical care management including ECMO, iNO, high frequency ventilation (jet/oscillator), total body cooling
- EMR System: Not specified
- Support Staff: Neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, hospitalists, pediatric ER physicians, dedicated resuscitation & transport teams
- Days Per Month: 15 shifts
- On-Call/Weekends: 12-hour in-house shifts including weekends
Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Nevada license (or willing to obtain)
- DEA and CSR/CDS prior to start
- NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
