Job description
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist to provide in-house overnight coverage in a Level III NICU. This is a temporary coverage need due to the resignation of an existing neonatologist, requiring 4–6 shifts per month. The role involves comprehensive neonatal care in a collaborative NICU environment.

Job Details & Responsibilities
-
Provide in-house neonatology coverage in a 15-bed Level III NICU
-
Average 0–4 admissions per day and ~12 patients per day
-
Attend C-sections as required
-
Manage and coordinate neonatal transfers
-
No responsibility for Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery coverage
-
Work within a team of 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 4 contingent neonatologists

Use Cerner / Ecare / PowerChart for documentation

Facility trauma designation: Level III
-
Coverage is locum/temporary
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
MD/DO, fellowship-trained in Neonatology

Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatology

Active Michigan medical license (license in hand; no exceptions)

BLS and NRP required (ACLS also listed in submission requirements)

Clean background and recent NPDB self-query (within 1 month)

Ability to commit to 4–6 overnight shifts per month

Local provider preferred
