Permanent Physician – Neonatology
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Neonatology
Location: Virginia.
Shift: 24-hour shifts with block scheduling
- Patient Population: Neonates / newborn nursery and special care nursery
- Setting: Inpatient hospital / Level II special care nursery
- Responsibilities: Newborn stabilization and management, nursery coverage, collaboration with pediatric hospitalists, family-centered neonatal care
- Required Procedures: Standard neonatal resuscitation and special care nursery procedures
- EMR System: Not specified
- Support Staff: Pediatric hospitalists and subspecialty support
- Days Per Month: Block scheduling
- On-Call/Weekends: Flexible out-of-house call; weekends required
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Virginia license (or willing to obtain)
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days)
- DEA prior to start
