Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (In-house call)
Coverage Need: 4–6 shifts per month
Start Date: 03/24/2026
Dates of Coverage: 03/24/26 – 12/31/26
Logistics Covered: Mileage reimbursement only
Location: Southfield, MI
Details:
- Practice Setting: Level III NICU
- NICU Size: 15-bed NICU
- Average Census: 12 patients/day
- Average Admissions Per Day: 0–4
- Number of Neonatologists in Group: 3 full-time, 2 part-time, 4 contingent
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner / eCare / PowerChart
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level III
Clinical Responsibilities:
- In-house NICU night coverage
- Attendance at C-sections – REQUIRED
- Neonatal transfers – REQUIRED
- No Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery coverage
Requirements:
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatology
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active Michigan medical license (in hand)
- Clean background
- BLS & NRP certifications
- Local provider (mileage reimbursed if applicable)
- Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last month) – at submission
