Neonatologist Locum Opportunity (Michigan)
Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist to provide Level III NICU coverage due to the resignation of an existing provider. Coverage is needed from March 24, 2026, through December 31, 2026, for approximately 4–6 night shifts per month. The schedule consists of in-house night call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The provider will work in a 15-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of approximately 12 patients and 0–4 admissions per day. Responsibilities include attending C-sections, managing neonatal transfers, and providing comprehensive NICU care. Coverage of the Level I well-baby nursery is not required. The facility utilizes Cerner, eCare, and PowerChart for documentation and operates as a Level III trauma-designated hospital.
Candidates must hold a Neonatology fellowship and be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatology. Providers must already hold an active Michigan medical license. Required certifications include BLS and NRP, and the facility has an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90–120 days. Mileage reimbursement is available, and preference is given to local providers.
