Facility is seeking a fellowship trained Neonatologist for in-house coverage 4-6 times a month.
Level 3 NICU, Hospital, Southfield, Michigan
- Reason for Coverage: resignation of an existing neonatologist
- Dates of Coverage: 3/24/26 through 12/31/26- 4-6 shifts a month
- Schedule: 7 pm to 7 am , in-house call
- How Many Neonatologists in Your Group? 3 full time, 2 part time, 4 contingents
- Number of Exam Rooms: 15 bed NICU
- Average Number of Admissions Per Day: 0 to 4
- Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Attend C-Sections? Yes
- Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Cover the Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery? No
- Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Transfer Neonates? Yes
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner/Ecare/Power chart
- Facility Trauma Level/Designation: 3
- Board Requirements (Board Certified/Board Eligible): BC or truly BE
- Is Fellowship Training Required? Yes, Neonatology fellowship is required
- Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? No, license in hand
- Certification Requirement (BLS, NALS, PALS, etc.): BLS, NRP
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Current HF credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days. The site has urgent need and is requesting temps

- Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology – [REQUIRED]
