Permanent – Physician – Neonatology
Henderson, Nevada
Position Type: Permanent

Shift: Flexible clinical shifts (days + potential call)

End Date: Permanent Hire
Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonatal (Level II & Level III NICU)
Setting: Hospital-based NICU
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care across Level III and Level II NICUs
- Manage critically ill and premature infants
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists including pediatric surgery, maternal-fetal medicine, and OB hospitalists
- Utilize advanced neonatal technologies
- Participate in quality improvement and teaching initiatives
- Work within a collaborative, team-based environment
Required Procedures:
- Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Advanced ventilation management (jet ventilation, oscillators)
- Therapeutic hypothermia (body cooling)
- Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
- General NICU procedures and critical care management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Skilled NICU nursing team, pediatric subspecialists, ancillary staff
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends:
- Rotating weekends
- Team-based call coverage to support 24/7 NICU operations
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Nevada license or willing to obtain
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred
- NPDB self-query within 30 days
- Visa support status required (must specify)
- Open to experienced physicians and recent graduates
- No locums candidates
