Neonatologist opening in Charleston, WV *Huntington, WV 50m; Columbus, Ohio 180m Why This Role: Join the NICU team at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Women and Children’s Hospital as a Neonatologist. This is a Level IV, 30-bed NICU with an average daily census of 24, offering the opportunity to care for high-acuity neonatal patients in a teaching environment affiliated with WVU School of Medicine. Position Details: * Provide 24/7 in-house coverage alongside 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners * Attend deliveries and provide comprehensive NICU care * Care for approximately 3,000 annual births, including 470 NICU and 1,226 newborn nursery admissions * Participate in teaching medical students and residents; opportunity to become a Clinical Associate Professor with WVU School of Medicine, Charleston Division * Consultative support available from >30 pediatric subspecialties * Option to cover at nearby Level II NICU * Collaborative, patient-centered environment Requirements: * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 5 years of residency) * WV medical license (or willingness to obtain) * Minimum 3 years of experience in a busy Level III/IV NICU preferred * DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) * Most recent NPDB Self Query report (within 30 days active) * Accepting J1 Visa candidates * Not accepting locums candidates * Accepting new graduates Clinical Details: * On-call: None * Weekend coverage: 24/7 in-house coverage Compensation and Benefits: * Competitive salary range based on experience and training (discussed during interview) * Relocation assistance if applicable * Health insurance including prescription drugs * Dental and vision insurance * Life insurance * Short- and long-term disability options * 401(k) with company match * Employee stock purchase program (15% discount) * Long Term Care (LTC) * Pre-tax Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) * Aflac hospital, critical illness, and accident plans * Identity protection * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Certifications: Board Certified, Board Eligible State Licenses: West Virginia
