Regional Leadership Role | Days + Shared Call
365 Healthcare is seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Director to provide clinical and physician leadership for a regional Maternal Fetal Medicine service line in West Michigan, with coverage across Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore. This leadership opportunity allows the selected physician to shape and advance a high-acuity MFM program within a mission-driven, multidisciplinary healthcare organization.
Practice & Leadership Overview
Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine program serving West Michigan
Dyad leadership model in collaboration with Administrative & Clinical Director for Women’s & Children’s Services
Partnership with OB/GYN Medical Directors across Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore
High-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine focus
Assigned clinical and administrative responsibility for MFM offices and programs
Shared call responsibilities with MFM Partner / Medical Director (primarily phone-based, with hospital visits as needed)
Key Responsibilities
Provide physician leadership and oversight of the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line
Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care for complex maternal-fetal cases
Provide comprehensive MFM care including diagnostic, consultative, and management services
Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary specialists
Lead program development initiatives focused on quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial performance
Participate in strategic planning and operational decision-making for the MFM program
Educate, mentor, and support medical students and residents
Qualifications
Board Certified in OB/GYN – REQUIRED
Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine – REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine practice experience (post-training)
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (preferred)
Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certification
Clean malpractice history preferred
Open to H1B visa candidates (J1 waivers not accepted)
Recent NPDB self-query required at time of presentation
