🏥 Facility Setting
Hospital-based Level III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26, supported by a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties.
🩺 Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive care in a 36-bed Level III NICU
- Manage advanced neonatal therapies including:
- High Frequency Ventilation
- Inhaled Nitric Oxide
- Total Body Cooling
- aEEG monitoring
- Collaborate with subspecialists in Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology
- Work closely with a dedicated team of 5 Neonatologists and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
- Participate in in-house coverage, nights, and rotating weekends
🗓 Schedule
- 6–7 in-house 24-hour shifts per month
- 6–7 additional 8-hour day shifts per month
- Rotating weekend and night coverage as part of the team mode
👨⚕️ Requirements :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Kansas license (or willing to obtain)
- Eligible for full-scope NICU care
- Clean professional and malpractice history
