🏥 Facility Setting

Hospital-based Level III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26, supported by a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties.

🩺 What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive care in a 36-bed Level III NICU

• Manage advanced neonatal therapies including:

  • High Frequency Ventilation

  • Inhaled Nitric Oxide

  • Total Body Cooling

  • aEEG monitoring

• Collaborate with subspecialists in Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology

• Work closely with a dedicated team of 5 Neonatologists and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

• Participate in in-house coverage, nights, and rotating weekends

🗓 Schedule

• 6–7 in-house 24-hour shifts per month

• 6–7 additional 8-hour day shifts per month

• Rotating weekend and night coverage as part of the team model

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

• Kansas license (or willing to obtain)
