🗓️ Schedule Highlights
- 24-hour shifts
- Up to 16 shifts per month
- 8 patient contact hours
- 24-hour on-call coverage
- Inpatient responsibilities only
🏥 Practice & NICU Details
- Level III NICU with 10 beds (capacity to expand to 12 short-term)
- Average Daily Census: 6.3
- Neonates 28+ weeks gestation
- Infants under 28 weeks are stabilized and transferred
- Integrated NICU model 🧸
- Infants remain with families in LDRP when stable
- Unstable infants may transition to a dedicated NICU room
- Supported by medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services
- EMR: Epic
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Fellowship trained in Neonatology
- Active Iowa license or IMLC
