Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to provide in-house coverage at a Level IV NICU in the Long Beach, California area. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend shift options.
Shift Options
Weekday Shifts (Monday–Friday)
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Night Shift: 3:00 PM – 9:00 AM
24-Hour Shift: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM (following day), combining day and night coverage
Weekend Shifts
Friday 3:00 PM – Saturday 9:00 AM
Saturday 9:00 AM – Sunday 9:00 AM
Sunday 9:00 AM – Monday 9:00 AM

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level IV NICU
In-house coverage during assigned shifts
Manage high-acuity neonatal cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary NICU teams
Participate in patient care, admissions, and consultations as needed
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Neonatology
• CA Active License
• Seeking candidate with recent caseloads/experience in the past 12 months
• Must have Level 4 NICU experience
