🗓️ Coverage Dates & Schedule
- 24-hour shifts (7:00a–7:00a)
- Dates Needed:
- Dec 22–28, 31
- Jan 1–5, 11–19
- Feb 1–2, 12–18, 22, 23
- Coverage Available: ASAP
- Shift Structure:
- 24-hour coverage with rounding
- Call from home or hotel
🏥 Practice Setting
- Level II NICU & Newborn Nursery
- Hospital actively working toward Level III NICU designation 🚀
- Care for infants ≥30 weeks gestation and >1,250 grams
- Focus on keeping newborns close to family while receiving specialized care
🧑⚕️ Role Highlights
- Provide care for premature and medically complex newborns
- Collaborate with pediatricians, RNs, respiratory therapists, rehab services, and neonatal nutritionists
- Deliver family-centered care, supporting and educating parents throughout the NICU stay
- Practice in a supportive environment with access to modern NICU technology
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified in Neonatology
- Active Texas Medical License
- Clinically active within the past 12 months
- Minimum 6 months of Neonatology experience
