Job description Locum Physician - Neonatology Need in Wichita Falls, TX

Start Date: ASAP - Pending quick credentialing
Shift: Varied - 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel

As a Level II Special Care Nursery designated facility, this hospital is able to provide care for infants with a 30-week or longer gestational age and a birth weight of greater than 1,250 grams who have physiologic immaturity, or who have problems that are expected to resolve rapidly and are not anticipated to require sub-specialty services on an urgent basis. In the Special Care Nursery, they collaborate with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services and neonatal nutritionists to care for infants so that they can remain in our community without separation from their moms and dads while they receive the specialized care they need.











Job Responsibilities

- Neonatologist covers level II NICU and newborn nursery
- Hospital in partnership with Pediatrix working towards level III NICU designation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns in the level II NICU
- Enjoy a supportive work environment and access to advanced technology in the state-of-the-art NICU facility
- Provide family-centered care and support parents during their newborn's NICU stay, fostering strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

* Board Certified in Neonatology (Not accepting BE)
* TX License (No exceptions)
* Clinically active for 1 year
* 6 Months of clinical experience within job specialty
* Clean background/no malpractice
