Employed Neonatologist Opportunity in Tucson, AZ Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join its growing Women & Newborn Center. This is an exciting opportunity to help guide the development of our Level II NICU, with plans to advance toward Level III designation. You’ll work in a collegial, well-supported environment that includes experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated NICU nursing team, all focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to newborns and families. Position Highlights Level II NICU – average daily census ≈ 5 On-site physician coverage 8 a.m.–2 p.m. NNP coverage 2 p.m.–8 a.m., with physician call-ins (30-minute response time) Full-time schedule with equitable call rotation Supported by hospital-based NNPs and nursing staff Candidate Requirements M.D. or D.O. degree Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology Arizona medical license (or eligibility) Commitment to excellence in newborn and family-centered care Why Tucson?
